As I am writing this report, I realize that my internship at IDEXX is coming to an end. The period of 19 weeks is not that long, but it is enough for me to acquire knowledge, build several valuable connections, and gain a wealth of practical experience. Throughout this timeframe, I have achieved all goals I set from the beginning of my internship. It is the evidence that I understand myself and have the right expectation on my career path.

There have been ups and downs with mixed feeling! There was one fresh me at first few weeks, worrying that I could not meet the team's expectations. Then it came to a resilient and eager-to-learn me who embraced challenges, sought feedback, and gradually started sharing my ideas with confidence. The supportive environment at IDEXX played a pivotal role in this transformation. Everyone I encountered was encouraging, providing me with the space to grow and the assurance that my contributions were valued.

There were moments of pride when a project I worked on received positive feedback, or when I successfully presented my ideas to the team. But there were also times of confusion and uncertainty. During these moments, the guidance and support from Marta and Angel (my most close colleagues) were invaluable. Their mentorship helped me navigate challenges and reinforced my belief in my capabilities.

This internship has been a journey of self-discovery, growth, and empowerment. I've learned that it's okay to have doubts, but it's essential to confront them head-on and seek support when needed. The experiences and lessons from IDEXX have not only enriched my professional skills but have also instilled a deeper confidence in my chosen career path.

Currently, I'm on the rollercoaster of emotion - really excited for the graduation (hoping that I pass this 😊), sad that my time at IDEXX is only till 30 June, worried about the first job seeking,... However, I always keep a "can do" attitude, because I have read somewhere that "In the end, everything will be alright. Otherwise, it's not the end."

Thank you so much for your reading and assessing!
